Just love and be yourself. It has taken me years but I am finally there!! I still have days where I don't feel ok. But am learning that it is ok not to feel ok!!
"When we have genuine self-love we can tap into our true goodness, see the gifts we've been given and then experience the joy of sharing them with others".
I am on my personal yoga journey and completed my 200 hours yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, the capital of yoga in India, in December 2019, which was an amazing experience.
I am excited to share my JoGa with you via ZOOM and In Person at the lovely Quaker Centre in Milton Keynes, where we do some mindful stretches, relaxation and meditation, along with great yoga poses.
Also offering 'Rest and Restore' as this is what our bodies need, even if we don't realise it yet!!
Come along and see for yourself.
I am a Reiki healer.
In the 1920’s a Japanese Buddhist priest, Mikao Usui rediscovered an ancient way of channelling healing energy, which is now known as Reiki.
Reiki is a safe, non-intrusive healing technique. Reiki is holistic as it affects the body, mind and spirit encouraging deep relaxation and a sense of well-being.

Mindfulness has been around for 30 years, discovered by Jon Kabat-Zinn whilst meditating. When I was deeply depressed a good friend of mine sent me a book that he co-pubished called "The Mindful Way through Depression" which included a mindfulness CD. By regularly listening to the Body Scan and concentrating on the breath I realised this was the way forward and now, without realising it, I try to practice Everyday Mindfulness. I can't say it has been easy but it is definitely worth it.
"We may choose, if we wish, to step out and start again, making our everyday lives more pleasurable, and present".
The consistent practice of meditation gives us many benefits and when we regularly meditate it increases our awareness, calm energy and general well-being. It helps to reduce stress, anxiety, depression and even addictions. It is about training our mind to focus and redirecting our thoughts. A good way to start meditating is to count the breath (4 in and 4 out) - sit comfortably in a chair and if your mind wanders don't worry, just bring it back to the breath and start your counting again.
"Meditation is a silent heart, a peaceful mind which can make life more lovable, more livable..."
I am fully insured with Westminster Insurance (Argo Group) to carry out Reiki Healing and Yoga Practices.
