The New Moon is for new beginnings, fresh starts, optimism and hope. It is the first phase of the Moon and is a great time to attract new things, ideas or activities. It is also a good time for exploring new opportunities.
You can use the New Moon to set your intentions and wishes so they come true. You can set new goals and focus on what you would like going forward.

The New Moon and the Full Moon get all the hype but the Quarter Moon is also interesting.
The Waxing Moon occurs in the week between the New Moon and the Full Moon.
The Waning Moon occurs in the week between the Full Moon and the New Moon.
The Quarter Moons are provocative and sometimes create a mini crisis that prompts action - annoyingly it can raise things that need dealing with - which can be both good and bad !!
